The Art of Sound: A Hands-On Sound Bath Workshop
Step beyond simply experiencing a Sound Bath and discover the instruments behind it. In this hands-on workshop with Rachel, you’ll explore a variety of sound healing instruments, learn how they’re used, and have the oportunity to experience each one for yourself.
We’ll begin with a short sound bath before taking a closer look at the instruments Rachel uses in her practice. You’ll learn about their unique sounds and vibrations, explore different techniques for working with them and experiment with creating sound yourself. No musical experience or prior knowledge is needed. This is an opportunity to be curious, ask questions and discover how each instrument responds in your own hands.
Have a sound instrument of your own? Bring it with you. Whether it’s a singing bowl, chime, drum or something else you’ve been curious about, Rachel can help you better understand your instrument and explore different ways to work with it.
We’ll finish by bringing everything together in an improvised group sound session, creating a shared experience from everything you’ve explored throughout the afternoon. You’ll leave with a better understanding of the instruments behind a Sound Bath, firsthand experience using them, and simple ways to bring sound into your own life.
